Our Goals
- Create and maintain a continually updated vision for the role and impact of digital twins for evolving a cislunar ecosystem.
- Identify technology challenges and opportunities, collaboration, standards, interoperability, and other elements of more pervasive and effective use of digital twins.
- Opportunities and challenges with coordinating community resources such as shared data sets, common engineering platforms, and related tools.
- Discuss possible near-term activities and longer-term strategies for making digital twins more effective and impactful.
- Identify new grand challenges and Infusion opportunities, among others.
Our Strategic Framework
- Purpose:To convene people and organizations from across the space enterprise with a shared goal of advancing digital twins for cislunar and lunar surface systems, harmonizing a commonly accessible engineering platform on the path to a sustainable cislunar ecosystem.
- Approach:To provide a networking platform that convenes stakeholders who are developing, planning, or interested in digital twins and digital engineering capabilities—including authoritative sources of truth (ASOTs)—for systems and services aligned with foundational cislunar infrastructure.
- Expectations:To expand cognizance and strengthen the network across the space enterprise to optimize solutions, minimize overlap, and identify gaps. We aim to accelerate the deployment of innovative cislunar capabilities by providing critical information for decision support for developers, investors, insurers, acquirers, and regulators.
